I saw some questions about setting up notifications for when new sales threads are posted and when you receive messages, so here's how I set mine up.
I receive an email whenever a thread in the sales board is created and whenever I get a private message.
To enable notifications on one of the boards, click the Action drop-down box and you'll see a screen that looks like this:
The reason the check boxes are grayed out is because those are forum-wide selections, not just the one board, so you use the drop-down boxes to select how you want to be notified. Threads are the individual listings/topics that you see in the background. Posts are replies to those threads. Set the Thread option to Instant and you will be notified via email whenever someone posts a sales thread. You can set this up for whichever boards you would like.
To receive an email when you get a PM, click on the Profile menu at the top, then Edit Profile, then Notifications.
